Are you guys like me? Whenever the year changes, I listed down so many things that I want to accomplish this new year. Like a new hobby, unlocking more achievements and improving myself. Is it more fun to have a list that you must accomplish within 365 days of span? Doing these things will help you to improve yourself, learn something new and achieve your goals hence you’re not doing this alone. From time to time, you will meet new people from different places and its kinda exciting.
Here are some of my 2020 resolutions:
Are you still healing and moving on like me? Come on, guys! We can do it. Living in the bitter past is like sitting on a chair full of cactus. Let’s help ourselves to walk away from the things, scenarios, people, and memories that bother us.
Starting my Self-hosted Blog
When I was in high school, I already wanted to have my website. I used different free platforms like Tumblr, Multiply, Blogger, WordPress.com, and Wix. I just love tweaking codes and developing themes back then. I designed Multiply, Blogger, and Tumblr themes before. Unfortunately, blogging was not my priority back then and I don’t have a credit card to buy my domain and self-host site haha.
But I didn’t end there. When a certain thing, idea or hobby is for you, I believe that whenever you go, you will always have a special space for it. Can you see, I finally have my self-hosted blog! This is a blessing and my achievement!
Changing my career
I have a very interesting and tiring story. When I was in high school, I know and I enjoy engaging myself in programming, web development, designing and blogging. Maybe it is a hobby for some or just for fun but for me, I never felt tired doing all of those. From coding to editing, error, designing, and more script. Gosh! I enjoyed HTML back then. Unfortunately, my mom told me that I have no path or future when I pursue Programming courses. That’s why I end up on a science course. Well, this is my future, and I know there’s a reason.
But wait, you know what? I am planning to attend a Bootcamp about web development and other programming courses. I’m excited and nervous but I know, I still have to think of it.
Becoming Physically Fit
It’s not easy to lose weight but I know it’s not impossible. I’m a sweet tooth and I’m having a hard time to lose weight. Maybe, I’ll go for a jog every morning even for an hour to burn some calories. I shall drink more water and eat more greens and healthy foods.
I’m not sure about this one because I’m an introvert and it’s not easy to mingle and entertain strangers or acquaintances but I’ll try. Time flew so fast and its already 2020 and I’m still single. You know, I’m a little bit pressured. 🙂
More positive vibes
I know all of us to have different ups and downs, challenges and struggles in life. Are you not tired of hurting? crying? being ashame? hiding? Come on! I know we can do it. We can still be happy and enjoy the things that we have and don’t look for the things that we don’t have. Let’s avoid too much negativity. Smile more and avoid frowning. It will make us look more ugly with that frown.
Share ideas and learn more from other people
We are all humans and we need one another. This year, I’m going to share everything that I must and should share. From my day to day experiences, discoveries, educational purposes and more. However, I can’t do it alone. I need to be inspired by you so I can inspire and help others too.
Are you a bed-person like me? Who loves laying on the bed for the whole day. So much procrastination in life? Quitting it might give a high impact on us. Being more productive allows us to do and learn more from different things. In that way, we will have a self-growth and become a better version of ourselves.
My faith and God
After so many challenges we have been through, we should never let go of our one true God. He is the one who guides us and helps us from our past sufferings. He’s the one who knows what the future holds for us. Trusting and letting him do what his will for us is the best way to do.
How about you? What’s your 2020 resolution? I can’t wait to know yours! 🙂
